Fish Tail Palm

Tired of the same old pointy palm fronds dominating your feed? It’s time to give your arrangements a serious texture upgrade with Fishtail Palm leaves. True to their name, these unique fronds feature jagged, split edges that look exactly like a school of swimming tropical fish. They are the ultimate texture disruptor for modern floral designers, swapping out standard, rigid lines for a jagged, ruffled texture that injects casual, unstructured jungle movement into any design. Tough as nails and wildly distinct, they bring an instant breath of fresh rainforest air directly from our Ecuadorian farms to your studio. Now available at wholesale pricing and farm-to-door delivery!

UPS MY CHOICE:

How long in advance should I place my order?

You can request a delivery date for an order up to 7 days prior to your special event/occasion. If you have a lot of preparation to do, we advise that you schedule it for 2-3 days before your event so there’s time for your flowers to hydrate, get prepped, and open to the perfect stage.

Something has come up! Can I change my order?

We get it, life is a little crazy. We can modify an existing order if we receive notice within 7 days of the delivery date. Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify it. If you wish to make changes to your order before the 7 day limit, please send an e-mail to info@samisachaflowers.com, with the subject heading CHANGE TO ORDER # and the order number in question.

In the body of the email, please include your order number along with your name, address, contact information and changes you would like to make. You will receive a verification email of the changes made to your order within 7 business days.

Because these fronds are broad but heavily textured, they serve as an exceptional backdrop for large centerpiece installations. Place them at the base or back of a design to create a jagged, rich green frame that makes bright focal blooms instantly pop.

Ditch perfectly balanced structures. Cluster a few stems of Fishtail Palm heavily on just oneside of a medium vase, letting them flare out horizontally. It breaks up traditional symmetry, offering a high-end, editorial feel with minimal effort.

Pair the fragmented, jagged edges of the Fishtail Palm with completely solid, smooth focal pieces like Alocasia Green Small or waxy Anthurium White blooms. The interplay between smooth geometric surfaces and jagged palm edges adds immediate professional depth.

Palms are notoriously hardy, but they perform best when given a fresh, sharp angled cut and placed into deep, cool water upon arrival. Keep them clear of direct, blistering sunlight to maintain that rich, deep forest green color for weeks.
