Caring for your Rumex Unicorn

Straight from our growers' notes: how to unbox these stems, how to keep them, and what they look good next to.

Rumex is a sturdy, deep burgundy vertical, and it is easy to keep.

Cut an inch off each stem, strip the lower foliage, and put them in clean, cool water. Re-cut and refresh every two or three days.

It dries beautifully. Hang the stems upside down in a dark, airy spot and the colour deepens rather than fading.

Recommended Delivery Date: 2 days before your event / Keep flowers away from excessive heat.

A deep burgundy vertical that reads almost black from across a room. Use it where you would use a dark flower but want texture instead of another bloom.

It dries easily and the colour deepens rather than fading, so it is a good choice for anything that has to last past the event.

Plays well with burgundy mums, amaranthus and roses.
