Caring for your Tweedia

Straight from our growers' notes: how to unbox these stems, how to keep them, and what they look good next to.

Remove the flowers from box and remove any protective covering used during shipment. Cut the stems at an angle about 1 inch from the bottom. 

Give them a good snip and drink of water on arrival to keep the stems hydrated. Re-cut the stems and refresh the water every 2 days.

A true soft blue is rare in fresh flowers, and this is it. A few stems do more for a palette than a whole bunch of anything dyed.

The cut stems bleed a milky sap, so give them a few minutes in water before you design with them and keep it off your hands and the petals.

Plays well with white roses, anemones and eucalyptus.
