How long in advance should I place my order?

You can request a delivery date for an order up to 7 days prior to your special event/occasion. If you have a lot of preparation to do, we advise that you schedule it for 2-3 days before your event so there’s time for your flowers to hydrate, get prepped, and open to the perfect stage.

Something has come up! Can I change my order?

We get it, life is a little crazy. We can modify an existing order if we receive notice within 7 days of the delivery date. Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify it. If you wish to make changes to your order before the 7 day limit, please send an e-mail to info@samisachaflowers.com, with the subject heading CHANGE TO ORDER # and the order number in question.

In the body of the email, please include your order number along with your name, address, contact information and changes you would like to make. You will receive a verification email of the changes made to your order within 7 business days.

Fresh amaranthus is thirsty. Give it water quickly and it will reward you.

Cut one to two inches off each stem and strip every leaf that would sit below the waterline. Then give them a deep drink in clean, cool water, not a shallow one. The trailing varieties in particular drink more than you expect, so check the level daily for the first few days.

Keep them cool and out of direct sun. If a stem looks limp on arrival, re-cut it and give it a couple of hours before you decide anything.

If you want to dry them instead, skip the water and hang them upside down in a dark, airy spot.

Recommended Delivery Date: 2 days before your event / Keep flowers away from excessive heat.

This is the stem to reach for when an arrangement needs to spill over an edge. The trailing varieties cascade on their own and give a compote or an urn instant movement without any mechanics.

They shed, so lay something down if you are working through a lot of them. They also dry well, which makes them a safe choice for an installation that has to hold for a few days.

Plays well with mums, burgundy ranunculus and roses.
