Do I need to be present for my delivery

Our deliveries require a signature so please have someone available to sign for the order if you are not present. If that is not possible, you may request to pick up the order from your local FedEx or UPS depot by contacting them directly once you have your tracking number.

FedEx and UPS offer a free service where they alert you of any packages being delivered to your address. All you have to do is create a username in the following links:

How long in advance should I place my order?

You can request a delivery date for an order up to 7 days prior to your special event/occasion. If you have a lot of preparation to do, we advise that you schedule it for 2-3 days before your event so there’s time for your flowers to hydrate, get prepped, and open to the perfect stage.

Something has come up! Can I change my order?

We get it, life is a little crazy. We can modify an existing order if we receive notice within 7 days of the delivery date. Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify it. If you wish to make changes to your order before the 7 day limit, please send an e-mail to info@samisachaflowers.com, with the subject heading CHANGE TO ORDER # and the order number in question.

In the body of the email, please include your order number along with your name, address, contact information and changes you would like to make. You will receive a verification email of the changes made to your order within 7 business days.

Prepare your vases. Make sure they are clean at the bottom (scrub out any gunk please) and fill them with cold water. Add flower food to the water.

Unpack your floral box. Remove the flowers from their packaging and recycle the paper packaging.

Hydrate. Your stems have had quite the journey and need a good drink. If they are a little soft or sad, do not fret, they are just parched. Cut your stems by at least an inch and put them in cold water to hydrate for at least an hour. Keep the bigger, longer stems in their own vase so they do not crush the more delicate ones.

Remove leaves. After they have had a drink, strip the leaves that would sit under water. This keeps the water clean and your flowers will live longer for it.

Rose prep. Roses come with guard petals, the tough greenish petals around the outer layer. These are meant to be peeled off. Think of them as a helmet for the journey. All the good, lush petals are behind them.
