Do I need to be present for my delivery

How long in advance should I place my order?

You can request a delivery date for an order up to 7 days prior to your special event/occasion. If you have a lot of preparation to do, we advise that you schedule it for 2-3 days before your event so there’s time for your flowers to hydrate, get prepped, and open to the perfect stage.

Something has come up! Can I change my order?

We get it, life is a little crazy. We can modify an existing order if we receive notice within 7 days of the delivery date. Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify it. If you wish to make changes to your order before the 7 day limit, please send an e-mail to info@samisachaflowers.com, with the subject heading CHANGE TO ORDER # and the order number in question.

In the body of the email, please include your order number along with your name, address, contact information and changes you would like to make. You will receive a verification email of the changes made to your order within 7 business days.

Delphinium gives you height like almost nothing else, and it asks for deep water in return.

Cut one to two inches off each stem and strip the lower leaves and florets. The stems are hollow, so use a deep vase with plenty of clean, cool water and flower food, and keep the level up.

Keep them away from ripening fruit. Delphinium is sensitive to ethylene and will drop its florets early when it is around.

Expect some shatter as they age. That is normal for this flower, not a fault, and the florets open up the spike over several days.

Recommended Delivery Date: 2 days before your event / Keep flowers away from excessive heat.

Delphinium is how you get real height into an arrangement. One stem at the back changes the whole scale of a design.

It shatters as it ages, so place it late in the build and think twice before putting it directly over a dinner table. For a tall vase, cut the spike into two or three shorter pieces and you get the same colour with far less drop.

Plays well with roses, stock and eucalyptus.
