Ranunculus: Stem Care

Snip stems and change the water every day if possible. These stems do clog easily but with just a bit of attention, they can last for several weeks. These flowers arrive fairly closed but once they have some fresh water, they’re quick to open. Ranunculus have hollow stems and are susceptible to bending and crushing. Cut the bottom of the stems at a diagonal 1-2 inches with sharp shears and remove all foliage that will be in the water and place them in water for hydration.
